Practice Emphasis

Roberto Arena has been providing tax advice for more than 20 years. He has accordingly developed extensive experience in business and tax planning, including a wide range of income tax-related matters such as mergers and acquisitions, corporate reorganizations, and international inbound and outbound transactions. In particular, Mr. Arena has wide experience in international tax planning (interpretation of treaties to avoid double taxation) and litigation-related matters.

Mr. Arena’s practice is also focused in providing regular advice involving structuring and planning of tax efficient structures, including efficient tax treatment of shares and asset purchases, as well as federal and state tax litigation matters. He has developed significant expertise in transactional, corporate, commercial and business operations, including the tax consequences thereof. In terms of industry expertise, Mr. Arena has been deeply involved in the financial, insurance, and oil and gas sectors.
